At FRMS we provide staff fire training on three levels:

• Level 1- General Fire Precautions.

This course lasts for ninety minutes and covers : causes of fire, basic fire science, fire prevention measures, building design and fire protection measures including the emergency plan for your premises.

This course is for attendance by a maximum of ten delegates at a time.  This course will ensure your responsibilites to periodically train all of your staff in fire awareness/prevention are met under the Fire Safety Order 2005. 

• Level 2-Fire Marshal Training.

This is a half-day course. Under the Fire Safety Order you must have a sufficient number of competent people nominated and trained to implement your emergency plan. This is the course that will help you to meet that requirement. The following subjects are covered: basic fire science, causes of fire, fire prevention measures, building design, human behaviour, implementing effective evacuation procedures and selection and safe practical use of fire fighting equipment.

This course is for attendance by a maximum of five delegates. (additional places can be arranged for an additional fee.)

• Level 3- Fire Training for Managers.

This is a full day course.  This course will cover all of the subjects in the fire wardens training package but in addition the Fire Safety Order 2005 is explained in a clear and consice way to allow managers at all levels to have a better understanding of how this legislation works and impacts upon your business and premises under your control. 

Following this course, managers will fully understand their responsibilities under the Fire Safety Order 2005 and this will allow them to ensure continued compliance with fire safety law throughout your premises.

This course is for attendance by a maximum of 5 delegates. (additional places can be arranged for an additional fee.)
